An Encounter, a Map, and Stories

Every story begins with an encounter, and ours is no exception.

It was on a beautiful summer day that two French women met beneath the Spire in Ireland. They soon discovered a country that was as inspiring as it was welcoming, and little by little, what had once been elsewhere became home.

The years went by.

Then one day, Maud tells Stefany about a little flame and a little ice being who meet. A little bit like us, halfway between the familiar and the unknown. That was the moment when imagination turned into something real. And so, on an otherwise ordinary Sunday, a universe emerged. A map, a world, around which countless stories would be born. Not just simple stories. Magical stories that transformed an ordinary Sunday into an extraordinary day.

Arcadia is born.

With it comes a home for unicorns, caribou, little flames and ice being, as well as witches, wise trees and giants. Fantastic characters and places that gradually reveal the mysteries of a hidden world.

Like children, everyone grows at their own pace, month after month, story after story, tale after tale. Month after month, story after story, tale after tale, through letters that fill a grimoire, books that tell stories and workshops to give a shape

Our ideas are always inspired by difference, myths and symbols, with the aim of nurturing a child's sense of wonder and imagination. We are mums, we value the uniqueness of every child so that they may grow, create and live in harmony with who they truly are. This is why our books, letters and workshops do not seek to impose a ready-made story. Instead, they celebrate diversity and offer a richness that nourishes imagination and encourages exploration.
